TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in is from 2pm. Please advise an estimated time of arrival when booking.
Check-out is prior to 11am. Failure to check-out by the departure time will result in an additional charge of $50.
Early check-in and late check-out is by prior arrangement only and is conditional on the booking situation at the time.
2. DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT
To secure any reservation, a deposit of 50% is required. Payment can be via credit card (Visa/Mastercard/Amex) or PayPal. Your reservation is not secure until payment has been received. A deposit must be made at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
Full payment of the booking is required upon arrival. Payment options include credit card (Visa/Mastercard/Amex), cash or PayPal.
Smoking is NOT permitted inside any rooms or parts of the house, or on the front verandah area.
4. GUEST BEHAVIOUR
Guests visit our property for the quiet nature it exudes. Therefore, as a guest in our home, any person or persons whose behaviour detracts from the quiet and peaceful environment will be asked to leave and will be responsible for the payment of their full reservation. We ask guests to adhere to a strict noise curfew between 10pm and 7am and be mindful of shared spaces like the kitchen area.
As a boutique operation, our rooms are available only to guests above the age of eighteen years. We cannot accommodate children in our facilities, and each room is designed to accommodate a maximum of two adult guests only.
5. CANCELLATION POLICY
Accommodation can be cancelled or amended up to 14 days prior to arrival with no charge incurred.
Cancellation in the two week window prior to your booking date will forfeit your deposit.
Should you need to leave earlier than expected, full payment for the booking is still required.
6. WASTE DISPOSAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS
Our property is connected to a septic waste treatment system. Please do not flush any item down the toilet, apart from the toilet paper provided. Please use the sanitary bags and bins located in each bathroom.
As we are an eco-friendly accommodation provider, sourcing all our own water and power, so please be mindful of your environment. Please switch off electrical items, televisions and lights when leaving your room, and please be considerate of the need to keep water usage to a minimum.
7. NO PETS ARE PERMITTED ON THE PROPERTY
8. WOOD FIRE/OVEN RULES
We aim to provide sufficient wood for your stay. If you do run out, please let us know and we shall bring you more. Please do not collect your own from the property. We ask that leaves, tissues, paper or rubbish are not placed in the fire.
The Forgotten Grove will not be liable, and does not accept any responsibility, for any personal property, including money and other valuable items, brought into the premises by the Guest. Guests do so at their own sole risk and should ensure they have their own adequate personal insurance cover.
The Guest is responsible for the total cost of rectification of any damage, such as staining of walls, carpets, paint marks to any part of the property. Replacement of any broken items will be the responsibility of the individual or the person who made the booking.
Note - The owners reserve the right to vary these policies at their own discretion.
